Reiki energy, (described as universal life force energy ) is accessed by the Practioner during a treatment, enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal and promotes wellbeing. Reiki stands on its own as a healing practice and is safely used to support orthodox and complimentary medicine. It is increasingly accepted in health and community health care facilities including hospitals, hospices and cancer support units. Reiki can be received directly through clothing.

Individual Sound Therapy Infused with Reiki

Supported by scientific research the basic principle of sound healing is that all matter is energy which is eternal and in a constant state of vibration or resonance. Sound has the ability to assist the brain to release different neuro chemicals and hormones guiding our brains into a state of entrainment and Alpha and Theta wave activity. This slows the heart beat increasing your state of relaxation, lowering your blood pressure and easing anxiety and depression, stress and exhaustion disappear. During a session a variety of Crystal Bowls and handmade Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs, Sacred Solfeggio tuning forks and other instruments are played, adding the frequency you need to balance and heal your body. Susie infuses the session with Reiki energy and healing. Clients report feeling like they’ve had a good nights sleep and have an improved tranquil state of mind and body. Also see below for the Weekly Group Sound Healing offered every Sunday at 5pm and Tuesdays at 4:30pm.

    Individual and couples sessions available.

    Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy is a dynamic system of releasing the connective tissue also called Fascia which holds every organ, muscle, tendon and ligament in place. Gentle and purposeful moves on key locations on the body release the tension in the fascia. This activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and repair) and enables the natural healing ability of the body to take over. Bowen is safe for all ages and is often used on babies. Clients report an elimination or reduction of pain, anxiety and depression, better sleep, and an over all feeling of wellness.

  • Qigong ( Chi Gong)

Qi (pronounced Chi) means energy. Gong means the art or practice of working with and moving energy. Qigong is a moving meditation using breath to move energy (Chi) in, around and out of the body. In Traditional Chinese medicine, if you have stagnant energy then disease can occur. With our practice we learn to harness vibrant energy and move stagnant energy, creating greater health. Qigong maintains and improves strength, balance and vitality. Qigong dates back over 4,000 years and is one of the three branches of Chinese medicine. It can be done sitting or standing. After your practice you feel energy in the body and tranquillity in the mind. Scroll down to book a weekly group class or click the button below for a private lesson.

  • Hypnotherapy

In my calm and safe therapy space we will work together with the goal you’ve chosen to focus on. I guide you into the Theta state of deep relaxation. This is called the hypnotic state where useful and practical suggestions for your improved health and wellbeing are suggested. Although you are relaxed, you are always aware and in control. Three to five sessions are recommended for lasting change to integrate and form new healthy habits.
